Dr. Mark R. Hembree, D.C.
Dr. Mark Hembree and his family moved to Tyler, Texas 32 years ago after graduating with his doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College. Dr. Hembree is originally from Virginia where he graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He has two daughters, Sarah and Alex. His daughter Sarah is now Dr. Sarah Hembree Hill and is also a practicing chiropractor at Hembree Chiropractic. His younger daughter, Alex, is attending Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland, and his wife, Anne, also works in the office as office and business manager.
Dr. Hembree is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, The Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and is a Certified Impulse IQ instrument doctor as well as an Activator Methods Advanced Proficiency Rated Doctor. He is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Texas Chiropractic Association and the Chiropractic Biophysics Nonprofit, Inc. In the Tyler community, Dr. Hembree is the Director of Chiropractic Services at the Bethesda Clinic, member of the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, Advisory Board member at Tyler Junior College, and past Board Presidents of Tyler Tennis and Swim and Hollytree Country Club. He also supports many non-profit organizations in the community such Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Tyler Junior College, East Texas Crisis Center, Hospice of East Texas, American Heart Association, PATH, East Texas Food Bank as well as several local churches and schools.
His philosophy as a Doctor of Chiropractic is to not only treat the symptoms but to find and treat the cause of the problem. Not only does he provide pain relief but posture correction and wellness care for the entire family as well. Dr. Hembree uses the Impulse IQ Adjusting instrument, which is a widely used “low-force” gentle technique safe for all ages.
Dr. Sarah Hembree Hill, D.C.
Dr. Sarah Hill grew up in Tyler and attended Robert E. Lee High School and Tyler Junior College where she was named an All American tennis player. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas Tech University as well as Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness from Parker Chiropractic College. Dr. Hill graduated with her doctorate from Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas in April of 2008. She is Board Certified with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She is married to Joshua Hill of Tyler and they welcomed their identical twin boys in March of 2014. Dr. Hill joined the staff at Hembree Chiropractic in 2008 and brings much enthusiasm and many new ideas to the practice. She enjoys getting out in the community and performing spinal screenings at health fairs, expos and other events. Dr. Hill is also a volunteer doctor at the Bethesda Clinic here in Tyler and a member of the Tyler Junior League. She is also trained in the use of the Activator and is a Certified Impulse IQ Instrument doctor, and especially enjoys treating children of all ages.
Dr. Cody A. Carter, D.C.
Dr. Cody Carter grew up in nearby Whitehouse, TX. He received a bachelor of science degree from East Texas Baptist University. While at ETBU, Dr. Carter was a team captain and member of two national championship soccer teams. He received all-conference and all-American honors, and he was nominated for the Kyle Rote, Jr. National Player of the Year Award during his senior season. After an on field injury landed Dr. Carter in our office for treatment, he decided to pursue chiropractic as a career in lieu of medical school. After college, Dr. Carter obtained his Doctorate from Parker College of Chiropractic. He has been practicing for 8 years in the Tyler and Longview areas, and has completed numerous post-doctoral education hours in the fields of nutrition and injuries. Dr. Carter has a passion for nutritional therapies and sports injuries, in addition to balancing the spine and correcting postural problems with chiropractic care. He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Carter is married to Elise Carter who is co-owner of BeFree Yoga in Tyler and is a certified Yoga instructor. The couple recently welcomed a baby girl to their family and have resided in Tyler for the past 8 years.
Dr. Lindsey M. Fisher, D.C.
Dr. Lindsey Fisher grew up in a small town outside of Davenport, Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City and received a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science. She moved to Davenport, IA and continued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic where she earned her doctorate degree of Chiropractic in February 2010. Dr. Fisher moved to Avon, Colorado, where she lived for 3 years before moving to Tyler with her fiancé, Bryce Fisher. She and Bryce were married October 31, 2015. She has been with Hembree Chiropractic since June 2013 and has enjoyed working with the patients of Tyler. She practices yoga and enjoys the activities of the outdoors, especially while travelling back to the mountains for hiking and snowboarding. She has a passion for health and nutrition and is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
